This is a company called Ace U.K they are cold callers for an accident claims company who have information that you have been involved in a crash in the last 3 years.

I didn't pick but I have no reason for someone in the area of Lynton to call me as I have never been there and no one from that area

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. Pretended they knew who I was and that they had a PPI payment for me if I would just confirm my details. Needless to say they hadn t and I didn t. They didn t even know my name.

Had a call from this number today (06/02/2020). I didn t answer, but just sharing what I discovered when attempting to identify the caller. Several directories show this as a number related to a recruitment company named Catch Recruitment. Hope this helps :)

Keep calling me despite me having blocked their number, they ve called me 5 times already tonight. I don t understand how they are still able to call me despite having blocked them after the first call. Fed up.

I would like to second Mo s comment above which turned out to be Vanquis also hounding me for a payment. Bit sneaky of them using a local area code knowing there would be more chance it would be answered!
