FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

This is from Lloyd s Fraud line first time they rung i didn t believe it was them as they had given me a 3 numbered code and told me to phone another number. Later that night they phoned back again and this time asked for my date of birth and then listed off the details of my last spending habits for me to say if it was actually me.

Muy maleducados, llaman de una empresa de trading. Me han llamado varias veces y les he pedido que dejen de llamar. Cuando le digo que no me llamen más o pondré una queja por violación de RGPD, me dice chillando y con palabras maleducadas que es la primera vez que me llama, que si yo solicito información (que es mentira) el RGPD no es válido, y me cuelga dejándome con la palabra en la boca. There was a recorded message supposedely from my internet service provider (although it didn't say which ISP they were calling on behalf), saying that our internet service would be disconnected in 4 hours due to 'Router Malfunction'. Our router is working fine. I suspect this is a 'Technical Support Scam', where we would be expected to pay for fixing something that isn't broke.

This number rang me this afternoon. It was obviously a recorded message. The message said that there was two unusual transactions on my bank account this morning, one for £300-00 and another for £3000-00. The womans voice on the phone message then asked if I wanted to query the transactions and to press button 1 to reject and button 2 to talk to someone. There was no mention of my name or my bank or account. Being aware early on in this call that it was a scam I put the phone down. So beware everyone!

This is a SCAM. The call started with a woman stating she was from Virgin Media and had noted problems with my router; asked if I had also noticed this. I said I hadn't. She said she could help me resolve the problem. I told her she couldn't, not least because I wasn't with Virgin Media. She told me she could help because all the providers' support centres were working together on this. I told her 'nice try' and hoped the weather was good in Delhi, or wherever she was 'phoning from. Then I hung up.
