He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. This guy said he was from vancompare who I have actually used before. Quite confusing but almost certainly a scam. The guy was South African

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. This number called twice. Thanks to all on this site - I ignored both calls. As a personal policy, I don t answer calls on my mobile, cos I only give it out to family.....and in any case I only use it for texting.

I received a 'phone call from 02034326587. A gentleman with an Indian accent, who knew my first name, tried to sell me something about cryptocurrencies, whether it was a course or an investment opportunity I don't know as I replied that it wasn't anything I was interested in. Despite that, he was quite persistant, until I asked him where he had got my name and number, at which point the line went dead.

keeps ringing daily more than once, usually no answer when you pick up, today they spoke, indian call centre ,cut her dead told her I was on a tps service and to remove my number , she said have a nice day, lets see if she took any notice

i don t know how they got my number. They called from national survey, i told them i wasn t interested but they kept calling almost every day until i blocked it.
