25/11/19 St 1045am recorded voice claiming to be Amazon Prime informed me that £7.99 monthly direct debit would continue! But said to press 1 if not OK! Is this a SCAM? Or is it Amazon because I have bought from them in the past?
i had a call from this number. it was a recorded message about owing money. I called back they answered the phone revenue and customs in a strong Indian accent. i questioned them and be proceeded to call me all sorts of inanities. reported to HMRC

I asked him to remove my name and number from their list and then he put me onto someone else who was pushing the same agenda. The truth is they get paid anyway regardless of the 25%, they are allowed to take EXTRA money from YOUR PAYOUT this is limited to 25% by law not a set amount they could let you keep it all if they were reasonable people but they take the FULL 25% as much as the law lets them get away with. This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range 17404659xx just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with pensions, accident claims = insurance telemarketing. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked it, but people pls did someone answer this number, same case or something

Constant calls for women who hasn't lived here for over 15yrs!! When you tell them and ask them to take our number off the list they don't speak they just slam the phone down on us then someone else from the same company calls again the next day!
