Got a message about an apprenticeship I recently applied for, they said they "need to carry out a short the phone call" in order to progress. They then said if i'm still interested I should respond to the text with my "FULL NAME". Wasn't sure if it was a scam or not as I did recently apply for an apprenticeship. I was called from 01733385646 and because I come from Peterborough I answered it. It was an automated voice stating that there had been a number of charges made against a card, going on to say that one was for Amazon. They were so obviously not from any bank as they did not say which bank, card, etc., Therefore I just put the phone down. When I tried to call the number back it went dead as if not recognised. Thus I conclude that this could be a scam!
Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.
This number is claiming to be Currys PC World Mobile. I work at Currys myself and is internally being recognised as a spam number pretending to be Currys to sell fake mobile contracts for their details. Avoid.

Received another call from someone who said they hold a 20stake in the Fraud team and started getting very angry when I started to challenge him he wanted me to change my pin number. Fealt very threatened with the conversation.

Creepy guy, no name given. Told me he found my number online on a website and that he wanted to have sex with me, that we should meet up and have fun. I don't use dating sites or give out my personal number online, so I am very unsure of where he has got my number from.

Wanted me to agree contract over the phone and text then said they'd send me details and I'd have 14 days to cancel the contract, when I asked for the contract in writing by email first before agreeing to anything she got sh1tty and hung up.
Keep on receiving here in Canada phone calls from numbers like this from UK, impersonating people from DELL computers, asking a three-questions survey.

Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. Just waited and it cut-off.
Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.

Fake and scam. Some woman with an Indian or Pakistani accent. Bad English. Pretended to be from BT. I told her she was a liar and BT didn't phone people about their broadband. She hung up.
The caller reports to be from Microsoft and suggest your PC is vulnerable requiring an update. The call is protracted and the caller goes into lots of detail leaving you with the feeling that you have a problem. The caller indicates they can help with the update if they can take control of your laptop .... I stopped at that point.
