Spam call from a Doors and Windows company saying they understood I was the owner so I asked them what my name was and they put the phone down
Caller said he was local energy advisor. When asked who he worked for he said " I have the information I require "and rang off.
Called me claiming he had a missed call from me. When I asked him to hold while I checked my phone log he quickly ended the call.
SCAM Automated message allegedly from "Bank Authorisation Department" re two claimed charges on my Mastercard account of £300 via Amazon AND £1100 from a "gambling site in California", invitation to press 1 to take some action over the charge and press 2 to speak to someone. This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
