"Steve" from a mobile phone supplier. Asked him twice to name the company. He panicked and hung up. Heavily Asian accented. Don't think he was really called Steve!

SCAM: Recorded message saying that my National Insurance number "has been compromised" (?!)
This number called and my phone labelled it as Suspected Spam. When I called back it went straight to 'on hold'. I blocked it.
Calls then hangs-up after one answers. Tried to call them back & the call gets dropped- hushed voices heard in background!
Some "fik" (thick) sounding muppet rang asking for my Missus, when I said "No", phone went dead. Rang number back and after a few rings it went dead.
Called to tell me that my computer was running slow and offered to take control of my laptop to show me how to cure the problem. I kept pestering HER with various questions in the middle of her "spill" eventually she hang up. Anyone reading this NEVER let anyone take control of your computer from a "cold" telephone call....

was called saying money was spent on my amazon account card details for £3399.99 was it me I said no he said I will put you through to someone else I said forget it and went straight to my amazon account to see if an order was made no orders made I may be 75 yrs but not going to get scammed I rang the number back and you just get a high pitched sound after ring tone .
