Text Message Got a text saying I had a voicemail then a link to T-shirt city.nyc/ a load of random numbers in link. I don’t know if any nyc T-shirt company. Definitely looked dodgy so I didn’t click link. If they were a T-shirt company from New York, why would they be texting me on a Sunday afternoon with a British mobile number?
Call received today from Mike (with an Asian accent) from Internet (something or other). Told him that I had a call from them a few days ago (but that was 0113 258 6691), and that I was registered with the TPS and so shouldn t be calling me. He immediately hung up.
Fraud SMS from 07723630445 at 16:48 Wednesday 7 April 2021 giving text G- [7 digit number] is your Google verification code. Not sure why this came up as it's not from any valid Google authentication service - maybe they are just testing to see if there is a valid phone number?

However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. When I answered the phone, there is just an awful recorded message saying it’s from Broomfield Hospital & to press a button to hear more. I didn’t know if it was a scam or not as I have had fraudulent calls that sounded like this!! Didn’t press the button just in case as not expecting to hear from the hospital. A text would have been good.
At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious.
