Constantly calling and different times of day on my mobile. Now installed Truecall app which blocks them the instant they call, along with a huge list of other annoying companies.

Called trying to arrange a survey of the property for Solar Panels, told that they were not trying to sell me anything (yeh right) but a surveyor just happens to be in the area. Made no mention of the fact that they were fined £80,000 last month by the ioc for lying to people over the phone.

Call supposed to have come from Microsoft Windows. Caller was asking about error reports we had sent - we hadn t. My partner took the call and, being savvy, did not give away any information. The caller ended the call himself with a thank you, goodbye.

When I answered, an Indian man asked me how I was! Said he was from Perfect Preferences and told me it wasn t a sales call. Quoted my name, phone number and address and asked me to confirm them.
