Part of a larger problem where If I hadn't realised what was going on he could have potentially gotten into all my accounts locked me out of them too, then blackmailed me to release them. How did they get my details when this is not my phone it's paid for by somebody else 250 miles away. The mind boggles at how much scammery people think they can get away with. Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach saying our IP Status had been changed from Private to Public and our internet was going to be cut off. It was a very poor quality line in a foreign call center. They weren't able to give me any other details so I ended the call.
