got a call from this number today. Said she was B.T. and that my internet line had been playing up for a few days. Told her it was fine and she hung up. Asian accent.

This number has been coming up on my phone for a week or so. Finally managed to answer it and they hung up. From the comments I ve read, I m going to find out how to block it!

Had about seven missed calls from them, I rang them back and it said to me there is a problem with a connection every time. Finally caught the call on the seventh attempt of them calling me and there was absolutely nothing on the other side.

This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account
