SCAM Claimed to be from bt/openreach. He said my router was giving error messages and I wasn't getting the correct speed. I told him he was talking rubbish, the call was a scam and hung up

Fraud this number is being used to steel the identify of cjhh solicitors and attempting to extort money from clients who are in the process of property transactions and intercept the money to be sent to the fraudsters bank account
I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Highly probable that this is a scam call – Caller claimed to be from BT regarding an internet connection problem, he had an Indian accent and wanted me to access computer. I ended the call at this stage.
