It seems that hospitals are in a Catch 22 situation here. While wishing to remind patients of appointments, and thus cut down on missed appointments, they also wish to protect people's data so cannot simply leave a message on an answerphone which may be accessed by people other than the person to whom they are addressing. Seems to be some general call centre with range of numbers, I have found more numbers from the same range reported by another people on different similar pages, so I assume this should be the same call centre.
