Got a call from this number and when i answered it the phone went dead , looks like on these scam sites who use a computer to call numbers and if you answer they keep a record and then later on call you to sell you insurance etc.

Text Message for post office but not sure it is. Think it might be fraudulent.
I'm more and more convinced it is a scam. I was called this morning, by an automated voice, that there is a proceeding against me because I didn't pay my taxes, and if I want to avoid further consequences (including jail!), I should press 1. Pulled over, pressed 1, a female voice greeted me and asked for personal data. I didn't give any, and asked if there is a number I can call them back on. She said she would call me back later instead. Once home, checekd with HMRC, no issues with my status or taxes.
I've received numerous scam calls from 01752 numbers in the last few days so suspect that this was another.

A call from this number (unaswered) was received late at night by a phone that has been hacked two weeks ago and the service provider seems not to have been able to put the account out of reach of the criminal, despite a great deal of correspondence with them. Utilities Said they were from Virgin media, Indian Accent, knew my name. Said they wanted to make sure is was getting the best service then asked for first line of address and post code, which i didn't give. My view is that if I felt I wasn't getting a good service then I would contact them. All in all an unwanted call.

Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.
