07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.
Missed call this number has called me 3 times. I didn't answer as I am cautious of scams. No voicemail left. I am in Ireland

The number is Ideal World shopping. I placed an order and they called to sell me more. While not a wanted call its not a scam.

SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! I had a call from 01491476930 which is local to me. The voice message informed me there were two transactions on my card which looked suspicious and that I should dial 1 to speak to an adviser. This sounded very much like a scam so I put the phone down. If my bank had found a suspicious transactions, their fraud team would contact me. This may be a genuine call but I would rather be safe than sorry and will investigate myself rather than speak to a potential scammer.

SCAM - Claiming I ordered an iPhone 13 through Amazon, decided to play along. He requested that I put him on speaker phone so he could run through filling a form in. Asked for him to send it through email, he said I (as in myself) am not authorised for email, whatever that means. I queried again that I assume I will be notified through email, and for some reason continued to state I am not authorised. I can't believe the guy actually thought I would enter a random URL in to fill in a form, must be nuts!

Strongly suspected scam call from "bank" which was unnamed saying unauthorised transactions had been taken against my card.
SCAM - they were trying to offer to switch my phone contract to get a new iPhone. I had to ask repeatedly for them to remove me from their calling list before they listened and said goodbye. Number is now blocked.

The caller had a very thick south Asian accent and claimed to be from "my network" - I didn't catch which one - and that I could benefit from an "offer". I cut the call and blocked the number.

Had the same as Judit when trying to call back after missing the call, which first showed up as an 0113 number in Edinburgh. Rang again today on this number and I answered: Indian guy with thick accent saying I had a car on finance in the last 8 years. Obviously this applies to most people. I just hung up. This occurred the day after listing my car for sale, so it's obviously a scam targeting those selling cars on Gumtree or Autotrader. I doubt they could tell you anything about yourself if you asked.
