Stated my IT address had been hacked. Digital voice. Wanted me to dial option 1. I hung up.
The usual recorded scam marketing call from these highly persistent scum-bags showing 08437240176 on the CLID, ("Your postcode allows you to access the UK s eco-fund.... ..blah, blah.... "you may be eligible for loft insulation or cavity wall insulation under the government s warm home scheme"....blah blah" etc etc...). As others have said, a woman with a heavy foreign accent trying to sell website design services for a .com domain name that is registered to one of my web design clients. She thought it was my domain, so I told her it wasn t and put the phone down.
Someone rang from this number claiming to be from a PPI company. They rang me twice in the evening. I got very annoyed with them.
