It's a fraud scam. They've somehow got a list of people who have purchased white goods and they're calling them to tell them the warranty has expired. I told him to fuck off and put the phone down as they were clearly trying to get me to pay for a new insurance policy when I blatantly didn't. I contacted this number after several missed calls, the company is called Freshstart, from what they said they get your info via loan applications etc, They seem to either provide or find you Debt Management company/PPI insurance recovery and probably other things. I just said I didnt need it and to take me of the call list.

When I first answered phone, extremely loud background noise (sounded like a railway station). Indian accented mail asked for Mrs ***. When I asked what it was about he said it was about my internet connection. I started to tell him I had no problems with my internet connection, but he hung up before I finished the sentence! Knew he was rumbled I suspect.
