Got a call from 07477139663 claiming to be HMRC and stated that a letter from them was not delivered and I will be persecuted unless I press 1 to speak to an agent... I am not convinced this is how HMRC operates so I hung up. Second time this has happened within the last week

SPAM recorded call today saying they were from the bank and a payment for £700 had been made to Amazon and £2000 had been transferred elsewhere. The usual press 1 to transfer or press 2 to speak to someone. I hung up.

Cold call for life insurance,
Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.

Received call from 01514530876, Liverpool number, I did not recognise so didn’t answer, immediately after letting it ring off got a call from 01233542584, Ashford number, which stopped within a second of calling, seems like a spam dialer.
This number called but I missed it, when I tried to call back it said I had dialled and incorrect number.

I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. Fraud Said they were from HSBC and wanted me to go through security. I said I'd call them back and at that point they gave me the genuine HSBC number (I said I'd look it up anyway). So I called the genuine number, 03457 404404, and wasted my time and HSBCs, as there was - surprise surprise - no suspicious activity on the account.

I wish I had discovered this website earlier. Adam, the person who has this number has ghosted me twice. He has lied to me as well, pretending he was single when he wasn't. Details are irrelevant and the fact that his number has been searched over 360 times says a lot. Avoid at all costs.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do.
