Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036342xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with ambulance chasers / PPI / insurance marketing - based in the Manchester area - they use numerous staff members. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems) Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

asked me to do various tasks on my computer - I played along, led him on and messed with his head by giving ludicrous answers to his questions until he hung up - very much enjoyed the call!

Someone claiming to be BT/Openreach who claimed that my computer had Trojan horses in it, and wanting me to buy some service at £ to solve this. Also wanted me to install some software, that may have made it possible to hack financial information. Called B

Had a call from this number today 28/11, Regarding a Barclays business a/c, claiming to have sent me a letter - he had not. Some little black urchin from Bongo Bongo land requesting bank details!! Do have a business a/c active, but couldnt tell me a/c nos or where a/c held. Told the little grub to get a job and pack in attempted theft. It defies belief with the telephone technology available vulnerable people cannot be protected from the tactics of human dross.

This is old story - this number is used by some "insurance company" - they check databases of car accidents and try to call you with offer of 'unclaimed compensation' for a car accident with some money set aside for you, but in most cases this is as usually fake to make you tell them your personal data... In some cases this number is reported as Evolution Legal Services Stockport or Action Assistance, in both cases they will ask you questions about PPI...

Have had texts from this number claiming to be Tesco bank fraud. I don't have a tesco bank account and their number is not on the "contact us" help page of the Tesco website.
