Called at 5:15pm 6.7.23. Calling about solar panels being installed in your area and are you the owner of the house. I didn't go any further, just said 'Goodbye' and put the 'phone down. I am pretty sure that had I held on they would have wanted to arrange to come and see property about installing solar panels. I class this as 'dangerous' especially if they get through to vulnerable persons.
Kept calling my mobile. Extremely inconvenient.

Call Guardian blocked this caller. I returned the call on my mobile which was answered by "Calls UK" "customer services" (on a mobile number?!). Apparently we have a "policy" re: nuisance calls and we will be contacted again. I said we don t wish to be contacted again and, in fact, our "policy" is rubbish. She then hung up on me. Telemarketing for "special offer" garbage for company employees or whatever is was that the lady on the phone was trying to get across at 200mph !! Spoke so fast, missed the company name, sounded like "star .." something ..
SCAM!!Got an email under the pretence that it was my boss! It then asked me to go out and buy 10 copies of £100 gift cards (£1000 total) as presents for the staff. When I asked about payment he proceeded to ask me to pay for it out of my own cash and I would be reimbursed. I told him I didn’t have that kind of money lying about and he told me to just get what I could. He was also VERY insistent on this being a secret surprise. Thank god I realised this was a scam but I worry about others falling for this

It's a company called First Contact by Utilita. I was called on my mobile and they hung up. A return call revealed they were a call centre and I have now blocked the number.
