As we have registered our business line with Corporate TPS months ago, this is one of multiple illegal calls we receive promising to get us PPI refunds within 12 weeks. This call, like all the others which also offer Private Pensions 3K windfalls, is an automated message and cuts off within 10 seconds, telling you to press 5 to start your claim or 9 to unsubscribe. Can someone tell me what happens when you press 9?

Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.

Today it's 01202137087 - yet another call purporting to be from the Bournemouth area but it could be India or Japan! I have no idea what the caller would have had to say because I never pick up these calls and they never leave a message. I've blocked the number as I have done with all the other 0120 numbers that call me.
