Caller was calling about "my recent car accident that wasn't my fault." - I have never been involved in any accident.

They started asking my bank details I hung up

Wanted to know if I would switch contracts. Very pushy, wouldn't listen. Wouldn't take no for a answer. Had to hang up on them.

They said they were from National advice service. That's as far as he got. Blocked.

SCAM Claims to be from BT calling about internet problems that I do not have. This is a number from a block operated by Virgin Media so why would BT be using it? BEWARE!

Automated message claiming to be HMRC Fraud Claims Dept, threatening arrest

This Liverpool number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call centre - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 1513758xxx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with accident chasers, insurance claims, RTA, PPI. People did they call you with something new, new scope?

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center from Glasgow - this range of numbers 14156892xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with scottish power, but also Post Code Lottery. Just block it if not intereste

This number called today as a recorded message stating they were banking security and that £330 bill from Amazon and a£1300 money transfer from my bank account which is unusual was taken please press 1 with your banking details. NO ITS A FISHING NUMBER WHEN YOU ARE CALLED

They won't be calling again. Block these scammers. Disgusting behaviour. Usual pause before they hear you, then sound polite and smiley but immediately then try to impose and intimidate with their fake sales spiel patter. Utter Bull, Do not bother answering.

Received a call this morning.I never answer calls coming from any 0843 numbers.Think about it folks!! Calls from numbers with an 0843 prefix are only used by companies, and are chargeable,sometimes at very expensive rates. Mail order, catalogue companies and utility companies etc etc and SCAM ARTISTS the list is endless. All Use 0843 prefix.
