Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.
Nuisance. Called saying I had unsecured debt and I had to tell her exactly what it was and amounts. Block this number

Definite scam. Claimed (falsely) to be Harry from Carphonewarehous3 in London calling because "we have a special offer on new phones today". Domestic and General asking me if I wanted to have breakdown cover for my fridge freezer and cooker as well as my washing machine ( which I currently have). A bit insistent when I said no, and asked why so when I said ‘because I don’t want to’ she ended the call. It was quite a friendly manner but as above, quite pushy. Asked me to contact them if I change my mind.

Danger - this number is from a scam Norton 360 protection email. It asks you to call number if you want to cancel the new subscription you have supposedly auto renewed. Would not have worked on me as I have taken Norton 360 as it’s crap as a protection software tool. If I had I would have gone direct to the Norton rather than respond to a high lighted number in an email.

Called me twice stating he was from Microsoft and stated our computer was being hacked. on the second call he shouted, "Have I tried to sell you something... NO!!!!! Have I asked you for your bank account or for money... NO!!" I was very angry and gave him some nice new words to look up. There is no way he was a specialist from Microsoft!
