SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. There was a call from this number to my mobile number. The line was awful but there was someone on the other end with a strong Asian accent, which added to the bad line, I couldn't understand a word they were saying. It's a Garstang number and I don't know anyone or aware of any business in that area, so presume the call was a possible scam call.

Sales call / this is a call from SD of Verkada Limited - a tech company selling security cameras etc. It will likely be related to an email whereby it is suggested he will be "in your area" next week. Of course he doesn't know where you are and in the absence of matter-transportation will not be there. It's an unsolicited sales call and not very clever. Best avoid firms like this where they start with a lie.
I received a phone from a person called Kevin representing Windows technical support from phone number 02045009692. He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. I told him in no uncertain terms not to bother me again.
