Emmisions advice team, wanted me to enter contract to reclaim compensation for my diesel BMW. Wanted me to agree contract over the phone and text then said they'd send me details and I'd have 14 days to cancel the contract, when I asked for the contract in writing by email first before agreeing to anything she got sh1tty and hung up.
Second call from this area of London in last few weeks but recognised area code number from past - ignored both calls.
I rang the number back using 141 to hide my number. When the person finally answered it sounded like a work place in the background. it sounded like they were on hands free/speaker and I heard a man say "get off the phone" in a disgruntled voice and then he ended the call. Don't know what they wanted but it's annoying to get calls like this. I've now blocked the number.

This number called me today and was a recorded message regarding my bank account. I discontinued the call as soon as I heard the start of the message in case it was a scam.
This number calls me two or three times at about 10 minutes intervals. It never leaves a message. It also seems to be associated with another number 07482876440 which calls with the same pattern. Clearly these numbers are from someone who knows that I do not want to speak to them. Otherwise they would leave their details.

It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.

They texted me as if they were CV library however they tried asking me for my bank account details via a text. This is the text they sent: Benefit and requirement - Work week - 6 days (600USDT) - Only 30-60 minutes of work per day - Flexible hours and location (can be arranged by yourself) - Must be 21 years old or older - Training will be provided - Bank account required for salary purpose Never give any personal information away via text. Number rang me, when I answered it then started ringing. Essentially very likely SPAM that is mass calling numbers and then connecting you with an operator if you answer. I didn't hold on to find out. Some cheek, SPAMing me the getting me to wait for an agent..
Called my work asking to speak to the business owner about leads generating. I said to send us an email as none of our management are office based and the guy said ok. Then immediately after I hung up the phone, the same number called back again and a different guy was on the line asking for the business owner again. I said "I just spoke to you guys and you said you'd email us" then hung up o him. nuisance callers!
Claimed to be EE, highly doubtful, didn't know my name which EE would. Caller had very strong Indian accent, everytime I've spoken to EE they've had UK based centres, also when questioned about call origin she wasn't sure where call was routed from...very suspicious Definitely seemed very scam-like

Received a woman’s voice message from Careline leaving a message for me by my first name. Stating I should phone back about my brother mentioned by his first name. Phoned back several times., but got no reply. However, it turned out that my family member had been taken to hospital. He was on an emergency system at his home as he lives alone. Has to make own enquiries to verify message was not a scam.
