I received a text from 'Lloyd's' informing me that a payment was attempted from a new device today and to visit an email address to verify a new added payee. I do not have an account at Lloyd's.
Fraud - recorded voice told me to press 1 if I had not ordered an Apple IPad “in order to inform the billing department”. The voice was one often used in fraudulent calls.

I confirm that it s illegal. I believe they call from Asia because it is a financial call centre but they call when here is night! I don t use bad words because I don t want a ban, but they are criminal!

Persistence caller, rings around 4 times a day at different times, even though my answer machine takes most of the calls they keep calling. Today I answered it & they are asking for the person that used to have my number over 22 years ago so I know that they are working from old telephone books etc. Just told them that they had the wrong number so hopefully that will stop now! It s a welsh number and I don t know anyone that lives in Wales.

When questioned how he had seen my details and what details and where he was based he said it was citizens advice in Manchester . I live in Somerset , I said goodbye and hung up. Was an Asian guy for me, claiming to be from BT Tech Dept. When i suggested he gets a proper job and stop trying to scam ppl, he suggested I go forth and multiply (in a cruder use of words). Number now blocked.

Received a call from 01206700891 which I missed initially. Then I got a 2nd call the next day which I answered. There was no voice on the other side, just silence, and then it hung up 3 seconds later. Sounds like an automatic system checking for active telephone numbers. DON'T ANSWER this number.

Received text from this number claiming to be NHS Test & Trace. But followed link which asked for payment of £1.50 and credit card details. So looks like the text was a scam, or the link had been hijacked by a scammer.
