I was targeted for an unusually precise scam 26/05/23 in which a group telephoned me apparently with specific knowledge of my bank organisation, my name and mobile number. The scam started by suggesting there was fraudulent activity on my bank account, and that the account was being temporarily suspended. What surprised me was that they knew who I banked with, and also spoofed the relevant bank telephone number
This number called me today and was a recorded message regarding my bank account. I discontinued the call as soon as I heard the start of the message in case it was a scam.

My work phone was called by this number, and got a recorded message, ostensibly from my bank, saying the two large transactions, one of which was to Amazon for £999 had been blocked, and said that I had a choice to either release the transactions or speak to a representative. This number is supposedly based in Slough, but that's not where my bank is, so I ignored it.

Safe number - NHS LOTHIAN – It’s a generic number that all appointment/surgery offices for the RIE, WGH, Astley Ainsley, Liberton, Chalmers, Lauriston etc hospitals all around Lothian use when trying to contact patients. Missed call I woke up to a missed call from 8:39pm - in Australia. There was an 11 second voice message which sounded like a noisy pub but no one spoke directly for the voice message. I called back and it said the number wasn’t in service.

Called me and was singing to himself when I answered, said he was from Sky and knew my first name, asked did I want to add extra services to my existing contract. he hung up when I kept saying no.
Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.
