Called twice. Recorded message suggesting two payments made from my account £300 from Amazon and £1000 international payment might be a scam and that I should press 1 or 2. I know it wasn't from my bank. Believe it's a scam call from a premium number that charges extortionate amount per minute.

01223931099 rang with a very loud background noise proporting to be a call centre. The caller, with a strong foreign accent, alleged he was from sky refund centre; however, when I said ok in a less than enthusiastic manner, the caller hung up. This is most unlike any sky call centre I have experienced. I suspect it to be a scam.

SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Got a call claiming to be a person from my college...a college I have not attended for more than a year at this point, their accent didn't seem English at all and I could barely hear them, I have yet to have a call back from it since the call got dropped.
Scammers said that I was interested in trading, but it was a long time ago. Did not sound professional at all.
I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.
