I was called by this number at 08:18 this morning by someone claiming to be "Amazon Prime" (recorded message) and invited to be transferred to cancel a subscription ('press 1'). The person then asked for my details and, when questioned, told me that it is not possible to contact Amazon directly or my bank over this. The conversation stank so I discontinued the call.
SCAM ALERT: Waste broker who wants to get you to sign a contract for business waste collection. It is a bad mistake to get involved with them, and the contract is very bad. Just don't tell them anything about yourself.
Called at 3am, and again at 5am. No clue for which reason, blocked at the second time they interrupted my sleeping time

SPAM John called, said "I understand you still have a driveway?" My reply "I'm sorry but how did you get this number?" He didn't tell me, so I said I subscribe to TPS for no cold callers. He apologised & hung up. Very amiable, & I was polite too :) Only use my landline for emergencies so any call to it arouses my suspicions!

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. SCAM This number called on my land line with a recoded message stating that my internet was to be cut off within the next 24 to 48 hours because of illegal activity. If I needed to speak to an executive manager I instructed to press 1 on my handset. The internet was not cut off nor has been interrupted. This is a scam.

It was an automated msg saying I had 2 payments coming out of my bank (but it didn't say which bank) and asked me to press a number to confirm the transaction or a different number to stop the transactions I believe this to be a scam call
SPAM. Nigel Frank recruitment these folk call your mobile usually during work meeting times (9-10) and think it's acceptable to keep your phone ringing for 30sec. Knowing you've probably muted the call with the intention of putting your phone to silent when they eventually abandon the call they'll immediately radial so you cant do this, to annoy you again, which is a bit controlling. Despite telling them you've started a new job, they continue to pester you every month.

Automated A Very annoying automated call. They call on average 4 times day. Starting at 9am. Never leave a message, never say who they are. I called them back using this number and an automated message says this telephone number has been discontinued as it has been reported as fraud.

Automated call saying someone has tried for authority of a £900 transaction on your card. If this wasn’t you press 1 to stop it. Hung up and blocked and reported.
Silent call - "Hello", then silence when asked who was calling....then phone put down. Unanswered call earlier, so they could be persistent in tracking live no's - for whatever their purpose. Did sound briefly like a live human, not a recording. No human interaction though - just the harrassment.

I was called on my landline from someone who politely announced himself as Sam from 'Windows Ltd' He then inquired was I the home owner at this property? When I asked him how precisely that was his business, he simply said 'Goodbye'. Perhaps my response was not in his script.
Phoned saying they were from BT and I had a very serious internet problem - caller was clearly from India, so I asked him what part of England he was calling from and he said London, even though the number says Pickering. Was very insistent that I had a serious internet problem, in the end I just hung up

Phoned at 5.30pm on a Saturday. No one on the other end so blocked the number probably a scam.
Fraud scam. Scam insurance crash call. The call operator was obviously very new at this. Fumbled and stumbled his way through the script in barely understandable “Hind-lish”. I stopped him and told him he was really terrible at this game, should stop now, he’s not cut out to be another sh*tty scammer. Told him his parents would be ashamed of him. He apologised and cut the call.
