So they called me earlier today claiming to be Virgin. They were offering me a deal to upgrade my services and I was wary of them for quite a while, however they never asked me for any bank details only to confirm personal information so I proceeded with the call. After seeing the reviews here I got worried after by how much they knew about my account so I called Virgin, who confirmed it was in fact their marketing team and the deal I was offered had been genuine and that upgrades were indeed in the works.

as everyone has said here, some claptrap about pensions survey and hung up the second I asked where they got my number from.

called the number on hold for short period- adviser states is the Pension Office-calling due to changes in pension system-cold caller no interested in services

I picked up, they asked for me, I said yes that's me, they hung up! call centre crap

Have phoned me at least 10 times in the last 4 days on my mobile. A real nuisance, I have now blocked the number but they still don t give up.

Had 6 calls from this number yesterday! - and 2 so far today! Never answer after googling caller! Had calls previous to yesterday - but they seem to be getting more frequent!!
