I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Called twice in two days at approximately the same time. True Caller screens any call from numbers not in my personal list so they don t connect. Obvious scammers
Got a txt from this number 15 minutes ago pretending to be from the Post Office advising of a failed deliver. Post Office using mobile phones I think not. Plus I my wife and two German Shepherd dogs have been in all day and not of us heard a knock or door bell ring, the dogs would have gone mental. I am quite sure this is one of those delivery scams

SCAM The lady identified herself as Linda and spoke with an Indian accent, knew my postcode and said she was calling about my boiler cover, which is on a high tariff that can be lowered. I pointed out we have no cover, she tried the spiel asking how old it was. I told her it is only a few years old, paid for outright and under warranty. I told her I thought she was trying to scam me and we are TPS registered. She said sorry you would receive another call.
