A man with a strong foreign accent rang to say we had £137 refund from the insurance on our washing machine and wanted bank details so the refund could be made. Definatly a fraudulent attempt.

I called the number someone called Tom answered and then hung up. I was then diverted to another number 01259 333 035 in Alloa, Scotland. This 2nd number had called me yesterday too. It seems suspicious.

So when I see Tunisia on phone display blocked and reported to all possible-ICO/7726 and all on line forums utter utter scumbags. WhatsApp getting lately which I’ve never had. Fraud This number is being used in an attempted fraud. I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.

Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.

Phone call received at 1105hrs this morning ( 12th April ) caller with an Asian accent introduced herself as Mary from Sky Technical support advising me that they had received several reports that my internet was causing problems. I terminated the call at this point.

We were called by this number to say that £300 had been spent on amazon and over £1000 had been spent on an international transfer. They said to press 1 to allow those transactions. We hung up.
