Waiting for a call back from Hospital & getting the tail end of the message when I answered, I stupidly gave my name & Hospital number! I'm now worried about any repercussions. I'm normally good at fielding these irritating calls with silence & cutting them off, but it was early morning, & as I said I was waiting for a call! I thought it was now illegal pester with these intrusive calls.
Many report this number as being Scottish Power... But what I got was a silent call typical of any scammer. And, as I don t have a Scottish Power bill owing I blocked the number! - I say it s a fake/fraud/phishing attempt.

Claimed to be from Sky email account - saying this has been hacked!! Call from a with held number. Said there was a problem with someone using 'team viewer' hacking our account. Couldn't actually spell 'team viewer' when we asked him to due to problems understanding his accent. Asked us to fire up our computer so that he could help us resolve the problem!
