Answered said hello, silence, said hello once more, silence, then i heard someone pick up the other line. waited for them to introduce themselves but after 5 seconds they hung up. How very rude. I greeted them twice, admittedly, they did not hear it but that s their systems fault for leaving such a big delay in me answering and them being connected. Also, as a side note, I owe scottish Power about 500pouds so it was probably them, but as they did not identify.... what can i do

This is Cashplus banks new security call... I checked first with Cashplus and they confirmed it was them and safe. When you make a larger online transfer they now call you to ensure it was you before the payment clears through them. They are based in Redditch and yes some of the staff do have an accent but it is safe and trustworthy. If in doubt call Cash Plus banks main line first to triple check before calling them back.
