This number keeps calling my wife s mobile and, because she won t answer unknown callers, she waits for a message which never comes. It calls 2 or 3 times a day.

This number rang me today. I was not convinced this marketing call was legit. I simply stated I was not interested. He continued to start to ask personal details e.g are you a home owner? I stated again I was not interested in answering his questions and I then put the phone down. Remember people, You Are In Control Of Your Phone!!!!!! If you re unsure if the call is legit, simple hang up!!!! Do not give out any personal info to a stranger that has phoned you.
Claimed to be Vodafone. I don't even have be a contract with them, hung up, suspected fraud.

Phoned from call center, (I think they were the magazine sellers), they offered me 3 magazines for a good price & said I could pay over the phone. They were very nice at 1st & careful to explain how they wanted my bank details, (not a debit/credit card) & that that is safe, (I discovered that it's true), but they were very, very, insistent, determined & wouldn't take no for an answer! Got a call from this number saying that I had successful PPI claim on a credit card and they needed UKASH voucher for their 10% commission - although I had never paid PPI on that card. A quick google check showed another cost trap with very similar number (02032864182) with almost identical MO. I shall therefore most definitely NOT be giving them any UKASH code, nor any other detail. Hopefully I can help protect potential victims.

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.
