Said they were sky tv and were going to send a new sky box and half my bill. They already had some bank details so I thought it was ok to give out the missing details. STUPID me. Phoned sky they said cancel your card NOW. Cancelled my card. Live and learn. I have been taught a valuable lesson.
Goes through phases of calling several times a week, then nothing for a couple of months. Doesn't take "not interested" as a reason to stop calling. Most of the time the number is from Bournemouth, but occasionally from Bristol - supposedly, because spoofing numbers isn't difficult. They don't seem bothered by calling a TPS number either, which adds to the 'number being spoofed' theory.
