Someone saying they were a BT engineering who has found a fault on my line called, and asked if I was sitting at my computer. I did not believe them and called BT and found out they will never ring me unless I had called them first. This was definitely a scam to get personal details from me - dont get caught by them.

Didn't answer as keep getting similar numbers call for surveys & saying I can get a free voucher then when they get back to you they say you have to sign up for something with payment details for the voucher. rings several times a day sometimes. i have answered it once and i think it was one of those accident claim cold calls
call was an automated call saying it was from a bank and my account had been compromised - 2 amounts of money taken from sources I do not use. It didn't say which bank of what account was involved just press 1 or 2 depending on my reaction. I did nothing but thought it should be reported as it came up as a local number. This is the second call this week of this nature so everyone should be aware that these nasty people are targeting people some of who may be vunerable.
