Missed call Came up on my phone as suspected spam, however when I searched the number on Google it brought up a street address in Bournemouth!

I've had four calls in the past week but didn't recognise number so haven't answered. I live in Spain!

I keep getting calls from this number and to be honest its quite inconvenient especially when I`m on the roof half way up a ladder. How can I bar this no from my phone?

It says its a Apex GP surgery in Rochester. So why phone me? I live hundreds of miles away and have never been there. I take it scammers have decided to borrow the number to scam!

Missed call from this number which left voicemail, very heavy African accent, female automated voice, sounded a bit garbled. Said someone was "filing a lawsuit against you, press one now to talk to your caseworker" I ve heard of this scam doing the rounds, I ve now blocked this number and registered it with "Should I answer" app as dangerous scam.

Told him I was not interested in completing a survey for Home Office - we are also registered with TPS so I have emailed [email?protected] to have our numbers removed from the database....we shall see!

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money.
