Tried to upgrade my phone, but took my account details and card number, address etc. I am quite worried now that they have too many details and will use them. No sign of upgrade through my usual EE account!

Very persistent, insistent that I had bank accounts which I had paid monthly fees on. Turned mildly aggressive when I refused to budge. They still call on a daily basis.

A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up. **SCAMMERS** Alert! do not do anything they ask, they may ask you to change settings on your pc or enter info into a site/or download something...these people are hackers who will gain access to your PC and your personal info... to rob your money and sell your data "avoid like the plague"

Male voice with mild local accent (ie British) addressed me by name but spoke too quickly for me to identify his name / company. Started to talk about 'Goverment Scheme'. I suspected telemarketing concerning insulation , solar panels etc. so promptly hung up. Might have been a scammer but most likely modern equivalent of double glazing salesman.

Had a call saying they are a University Survey company that reviews student uni experience, knew my full name and uni that I attended, went on for about 15 minutes asking to rate my experience out of 10 etc. Not sure if legit or scam, but even then dont know what they would do with the info I provided
