They want to know if the number?s real so they can sell it on. Criminals.

Quite a few calls over past week, Persistent sods. Told me my car had been damaged outside my house. Told him that I do not own a car. He hung up before I finished speaking.
Fraud Claimed to be from HMRC- if I didn;t press "1! to talk to their advisor a warrant would be listed under my name and I would be arrested shortly.
