SCAM - Purporting to be from the Post Office, wanted to advise how I could claim my parcel. Exactly the same as the scam texts that keep coming through, but this time with a real person on the phone. Hung up when challenged.

Rang me, didn't say anything, then hung up. Spam call.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618147xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, accident chasers, RTA - claims of all kinds. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Selling binary market service. Basically a fancy gambling service disguised as an investment. They take 3% of any winnings . Too bad if you loose. They claim they can make you money no matter if the financial markets go up or down. You gamble on the price

Tried to trick me into accepting promotion on behalf of easy life CATALOGUE. Promotion was for fuel vouchers. After going through all the script I told him I wasn't interested. He then got cross and said I'd already agreed to it when I hadn't. I'd only agreed that he had my correct address! Told him to stop lying and to remove me from their list and not call me anymore. I then hung up and blocked the number. It showed it came from Bury St Edmunds.

Keep calling then hanging up!

Had a call today claiming I had down loaded errors every time I was on line. Claimed to be working with Microsoft. He phoned first on 78678600, but phoned me back on 02034665132 as it was a bad line. needless to say I didnt turn my computer on to give him

This number 07321594364 is supposedly from HMRC Inland revenue. It is a con do not give any bank or card details

Calls at all times of day and is total nuisance-I never answer.

I have resieved a fake SMS from this number. Person behind clame that is Scott Bilford from a Bank and need me to contact him on his personal e-mail imidiately! So I have checked and at that bank doesn't work such a person!

SCAM Nuisance call. Silence when you answer then hangs up. Its as though they are testing if the line is LIVE. 2nd nuisance call within an hour - 1st was from 'MICROSOFT SECURITY' think these are connected. Reported number to TPS service.

Telemarketers

Scam caller claiming to be from the "Microsoft Security Team". Doesn't like it if you pretend your computer is an old ZX Spectrum and loads programs via a tape recorder. ;)

Amazon Fraud They tell you that an account was set up in your name from the USA. They take you through a test to 'prove it'. Then they want to take control of your PC or mobile.
