Two missed calls from these people in two days,,,i think they have my name as I was on the insurance policy of a friend who DID have an accident about 3 yrs ago,,

This number (07379 253353) is printer on stickers that have been stuck on people?s front doors without consent. When you attempt to peel the sticker off, it damages the paintwork. The police suggest you never called the number on a sticker if you need a locksmith as often they are scammers. To get this ASAP reply Info to this messsage NOW I read that they were sending these texts with exactly the same amount ot money to several people, so this can t be serious.

Direct loan company. Not a scam, you've obviously made an application with them. An 0208 number is a standard landline number and not a premium rate number.

PPI Claim harrassment

When I first answered phone, extremely loud background noise (sounded like a railway station). Indian accented mail asked for Mrs ***. When I asked what it was about he said it was about my internet connection. I started to tell him I had no problems with my internet connection, but he hung up before I finished the sentence! Knew he was rumbled I suspect.

As with most other comments, single ring then hung up. Did not call back. Weird thing was, this call came in on my company mobile, the number for which is only given out to colleagues and a few family members. I ve never used it to sign up for anything so no idea how they got it. Assume auto dialler?

Said that she was doing market research but was just gathering info to sell on.

3rd call in 3 days. Next time I might just say 'Please wait a moment....' and see how long they stay there.
