Was in work busy when these scumbags judging by how many times they appear on consumer forums called. I don’t answer if don’t know no. &/ or area their calling from having no connection to me How are they so prolific when ex directory and TPS registered?! I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2 offering a 50% discount. Wanted me to read a one time code. I checked and I did have a text from O2 but the code said it was to retrieve my account and that O2 would not ask for the number. I told the guy this and he insisted that it was a promotional code and the warning meant I shouldn't tell anyone else about the number. Looked up the number and it wasn't connecte with O2. I demanded proof from the guy that he was from O2 and he got upset at me. SCAM!

SCAM message received 14/02/24 appearing in same text message thread that I receive from Lloyds Bank. It provides a one-time passcode for a purchase that I had not made to FENDI LTD. It tells me to contact them on 03333392763 if I had NOT made the purchase. I did not call them, instead I contacted the fraud dept. of Lloyds Bank. Had I called the number in the text, it is likely they could have accessed money from my account. SCAM

This is a spam number. They pester repeatidly asking you to authorise or decline large transfers from your bank account. They never declare what bank they claim to be. IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. DO NOT PRESS OPTIONS 1 OR 2 AS YOU MAY BE CHARGED FOR A PREMIUM RATE CALL.

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?

Scam call from chartistake.com seller. They knew partially my name and tried to get me into investing with them. Looking at reviews it's clear that victims of this page cannot withdraw their money, only deposit.

Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Fraudulent telephone call. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

Recorded voice told me that my bank account had had attempted withdrawals and, if I wanted to stop them, to press 1 or 2 to speak to an "adviser" . I did neither and hung up and then blocked the number

SCAM dont answer, if the scammer sees the phone is active, they will sell your number to spam call lines etc as an active phone. Stay safe folks
