These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". This confused my thickly accented Indian friend greatly but I think he understood me in the end. Trying to sell something
A South African lady said she was phoning from the telephone help service. I told her we didn't take calls of that nature from unsolicited callers. She said she wasn't an unsolicited caller, so I asked if I had "requested a call from her"? Needless to say, she then hung up!
Called twice within an hour today and call ended immediately. Time for BT to up their game and stop these nuisance calls.
