They phoned me and told me they take no upfront costs for a handset. At the end of the call he said they need £49 to send the phone out. I then had an email to say they have arranged to take payment on a specific date. Luckily they don t have my bank details. I know my credit isn t good so when I asked how they can give anyone a contract without a credit check, he told me it s because it s a 12 month contract and not a 24 month contract. Was called at 10.15 am today. Indian man saying was from BT Internet ..... very pushy indeed. This man did have good english so don't be fooled, I knew it was a scam as I don't use that internet provider and they do the rounds using different numbers the number they called from was - 01545 845848. Beware they do use other numbers even if you do use that service provider don't be taken in by scammers . So annoying get rid of the landline and be scam free that option is looking good, or get a blocking service
