Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? Rang me 20 times at least in last 2 months. All I do is go through the whole phone call with them when I have time & then tell them won the lottery so not interested in claiming any debts back. But they very persistent so then you tell them how you have just been wast ring there time like they keep doing to others. Or just ask them to hold & they hang up. Be warned will keep ringing forever. ????????????????
Rang claiming to be from BT. Stated that our internet would be disconnected for 4 days and that he needed access to our computer to "rewire" a temporary connection free of charge to bridge the gap. I m an IT consultant and so strung him along for a while to waste his time, then told him what I did for a living. He hung up. Not sure where the money angle was going to come from, but guarantee that they would have either infected my PC or tried to scam me out of money for a fake support contract.
