I was rung up on 30.8.21 by a female Indian (?) voice claiming to be a representative of BT. There was a large amount of background noise, indicating, presumably, that this female was ringing from some sort of call centre. As I do not have a BT phone I rang off before she could get into her stride about rates. My hope is that she and her colleagues will slip in a pile of dog poo and break their ruddy necks.

Called literally within 3 minutes of me putting an ad on Gumtree. Asian accent - had an accident in last two years. Hung up but then rang back on 02081443119 and kept ringing back. Threatened them with police and said I was recording conversations. Stopped
Another accident chasers, this time from Birmingham... Just block it. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very useful for call centres). No problems.
