SCAM This was almost definitely a scam of some kind. The caller spoke with accented English in a location with a huge amount of background chatter. He claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse offering very low prices on iPhone, Samsung and Huawei mobile phones. I do not think it was actually Carphone warehouse, as I have never provided my details to them and I would expect they had a call centre environment that sounded a bit less like the outside of a busy London pub on a sunny evening.
Compensation for an accident I didn't have

Received a sketchy online banking text from this number claiming to be HSBC, i dont even bank with HSBC so this is pretty obviously a shitty attempt at a Scam

I have received several calls from this number over the last two weeks. I have answered once and the call was disconnected immediately.
SCAM - text claiming to be Lloyds bank telling me "A payment has tried to leave your account today. If this was NOT you, please visit: https://reviewmy payees.co.uk/" I called Lloyds on a separate phone and they say they did NOT send this message.

Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! They keep asking for Daniel Stevenson, it is not me! Firt I was polite, then I screamed as loud as I could a few times, then the final straw I lost it and swore, screamed, shouted and acted like a crazy man! The caller refered me to his supervisor where I carried on acting possessed and he eventually took me off the call loop! Only time will tell if I m actually off it! He said his name was mike brabro and was calling from "people s oppinion" ... Well he certainly got mine!

SCAM Claimed to be from BT Broadband and told me my internet router was sending error signals to them and that I wasn't getting the speed I should be. They give you a bit of blurb about internet speed and then ask you to turn on your laptop, they ask you to press 'Ctrl + Windows +R' then type: - 'Eventvwr' into the box. They then use screen that comes up to persuade you that you have a problem. Once they have you convinced, which is easily done if you are not tech savvy, the sting.. Your money!!!

I filled in a Saga online form for a health cover quote. This telephone number rang me within 5 minutes of filling in the form. As I didn t recognise the number, I didn t answer the call. I then searched and found out that it s a telemarketing call on behalf of Saga. I do not wish to be contacted this quickly, I would prefer to receive their email with my quote and then consider it in my own time.
06-09-2022 rang today, when I picked phone up and said hello they just hung up without saying anything. We live in the Leeds LS25 area.

The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. This is a scam from the HRMC I suspect. Called saying that tax fraud has been raised under my name and to press 1. Very bad line, sounded like they were located in India. Became irate and unprofessional when I refused to give name.

Came on to say that I had outstanding debts on credit cards etc and were paying off money. Told them it was a TPS line but didn’t take it in.
Foreign call centre refuse to remove me from their database and laughed at my request. Told me I must answer all their questions first and called me back 20x in 10 mins as I kept on ganging up. Total fruit cakes!
Said were from 'virgin media'. BS
