Definitely spam, or just a random automated dialler! Woke me up on Saturday at 3AM, called back thinking it was someone with my number in trouble and got a silent dead line! Not sure if they got a wrong number but very annoying! Got a call fairly shortly after from a mobile with the same scenario..
Claimed to be HMRC and threatening legal action for unpaid tax. Don t think so!

I was phoned by an automated caller, saying my NI number had appeared in recent criminal activity and needed to ‘press1’ to speak to an officer before I was arrested and my assets seized. I hung up immediately.
