I received this and replied with Claim to see if I could get someone to call me whereby i would find the company name in order to report them. Someone called me the next day and when I told them I hadn t had an accident but wanted to know who they were, they hung up.

Call center: Indian sounding lady called me and asked for me by name. I asked why she was calling & she said again "Are you Mrs ****?" . I asked who wanted to know. She didn't say. Told her to hurry up as I was about to go out and she hung up. Other people have said this number is someone claiming to be from Domestic & General about an expired washing machine warranty.
This number should be a landline from Glasgow - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck. On the other hand I am not the only one searching for this number as can be seen from different pages... Does anyone know who might be calling?

Caller said that he was from BT. did not know who to speak to. Held the line open for several minutes when we tried to cut off call. Very persistant. I answered by stating that we were on TPS and they should not be calling us. I tried to disconnect call as I wanted to check what number he was calling from. He was still holding line open.
